Sheppey Rugby Club Firework Event

PC Hewes and PC Savage, along with PC Brown and the Swale Police Cadets were in attendance at the Sheppey Rugby Club's Firework Event last night, engaging with some of the 2500 people who attended this fantastic community event. It was a brilliant turn out raising funds for Sheppey Rugby Club, who run Rugby teams from ages 2 to as old as you can play, so a valuable community asset to help keep a healthy lifestyle and a place to socialize. 

The event was organised by the team at Sheppey RFC and ran smoothly, safely and without incident allowing hundreds of families from the local area to enjoy an evening out with food, drink, rides and a spectacular firework display to round it off. 

We would like to thank Sheppey RFC for inviting us and running a great event, and also to everyone who came over and said hello to any of the Police officers and Cadets. We will hopefully be back next year!
